Friend of The North Fork Table and
As the age old saying goes, I've got some bad news and some good news. I'll do good news first.
If you didn't happen to catch us mentioned on the Today Show here is a link so you can spend a little time with Matt Lauer and the Editor of Travel & Leisure Magazine (that's extremely good news)! I don't want to be accused of tooting my own horn, but that is pretty cool.
Spring is HERE (that's good news)! By the way, The Coat Check Closet texted me from Reykjavik, where it was vacationing, to let me know it's going to hang out there for awhile, at least until it can cash in on all the dirty thunder photos it took.
On to the bad news (which as far as bad news goes, isn't super bad): The Tour de Forks is going to be postponed until the fall, some time after harvest. We will continue to promote and educate about what promises to be a Not-To-Be-Missed event. Thanks to those of you who already signed up, I'll be giving you all a call within the next few days.
If you haven't heard, The North Fork Table is involved in Wine Camp. We just did the first one of the year and it was a great group! We provide rooms and one of the dinners during this 4-day, 3-night, hands-on adventure. If you think you know the Long Island wine scene, this will be an eye-opening experience. Even if you know nothing about wine, you'll be able to surprise and amaze your friends with your newfound Wine Knowledge. Call 631.495.9744 for more information. Be sure and tell them Mike sent you!
